Excitement I can do without
As some may know, I’ve been bouncing around, living at different locations for a while since I had to give up my house.
Well, the latest residence has its share of things that happen. This morning was no exception.
My landlord knocked on my door, sick as a dog. He was complaining of lightheadedness and extreme nausea. Well, as luck would have it, the local FD was down the street on another call. So, when they were leaving, I waved down one of the units and asked that they check him out.
Needless to say, they called an ambulance and took him off to the hospital. He might have the flu and this stuff is not something to mess with.
So, the landlord’s two dogs are at a neighbors house and she will likely get a call from him when they decide he’s not going to die anytime soon. The landlord is a big guy and I know he was doing a bit of macho when he walked to the ambulance but I think he realized that there was no way I was going to try and take him myself in his present condition.
Hopefully, it’s not something serious but we’ll see.
