Today, I ran across an article that shocked me no end.

One of the nicest people on the PGA tour got extremely serious news when his wife was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Bad news first.  Hawks lost game one of the finals to the red wings.  They try again Tuesday in Detroit.

Good news:  The Chicago police dog, “Bear”, that’s been missing for three days, was found and returned to his handler after a citizen saw him in a cemetery and called the CPD.

Okay.  Three days ago, four girls, two underage, showed up at Allied Tube’s guard shack saying they had been kidnapped from Chicago and held in a house in Harvey near 162 and Finch.

Police charged a 34 year old man, Jimmy Smith, with the abductions.  they have also charged him with kidnapping and attempted murder.

Don’t have a lot of other info yet.  More when I know it.

Looks like even the president of the Cook County Board isn’t immune from IRS trouble.

There’s a problem when he hasn’t paid nearly $12,000 in taxes.

Stroger’s Tax Trouble

The other day, we had an incident at the Lockport Central High School, where someone set off an explosive device that caused a LOT of black smoke, etc.

It caused the school district to close the schools that day and then, the following day, a computer-generated call was made saying there was a bomb at the East campus at a certain time.

Well, the second threat didn’t pan out, however the Will County Sheriff arrested and charged a 15 year old with setting off the bomb of the other day.

What a chucklehead.  Did he think that he would not be found out?  Sheesh!  And, what the hell were his parents doing?  or thinking?
