We lose another giant

First, Ed McMahon passes away in California.

Now, the papers carry the news that John Calloway, the man who brought “Chicago Tonight” and “Chicago Stories” to the viewers of Channel 11, WTTW, died in Racine, WI, after suffering a heart attack in a store there.

Out of cycle update

Microsoft released and out of cycle update for the .NET framework.

Apparently, there is a problem that they thought was serious enough to do this.

I can’t find anything in my M$ security emails talking about it so if you know that the update is about, leave a comment.
