Weighing in on Zero Tolerance
the story about the cub scout who got suspended for bringing a camping utensil to school just shows that zero tolerance is a joke. it’s not enforced equally across the board.
The only question I have is where were his parents when he decided to take this thing to school? He managed to sneak it out of the house even though I would assume he knew it would get him in trouble.
Next thing you know, the kids won’t be ableto bring pencils to school because they have a sharp point!
