I echo every Cubs fan’s comment: “Shoulda been done while he was alive!”
But, it’s a long overdue honor and every Cubs fan should be overjoyed!
She fought valiantly for 10 years against the monster that has claimed her but, in doing so, gave many hope that they too could tame the monster.
I’ll remember that she always had a smile for everyone and always waved if someone called out greetings. She was one class act.
