You have to be kidding!

Friday, January 21st, 2011

nearly 80 people have filed with the Feds for the 2012 presidential election.  C’mon now!  This is ridiculous.  Looks like a bunch of Tea Party, or as my neighbor calls them, the TPs, are starting early.

A new gov with old problems

Tuesday, January 11th, 2011

Pat Quinn was sworn in as Illinois Governor yesterday and he inherited a ton of issues, mostly held over from the Blago era.

Well now, let’s see.

Danny Davis, after his hoo-hah about Clinton not coming to Chicago, withdraws from the mayor’s race and backs Moseley-Braun.  Now we find that Carol’s got some problems of her own with her tax returns which she, at first, said she wasn’t going to release and then released.

These things raise more questions than answers, especially when she’s claiming astronomical losses on her business against her personal income taxes.

Just what we need, yet another politician with tax problems.  SHEESH!

Something that didn’t make the news

Sunday, January 9th, 2011

The FBI’s been busy going after companies that say they’re minority owned and really are not.

Brunt Bros. is the latest.  Here’s the link to the release from the FBI Chicago office on this story: http://bit.ly/eP1NkT

Politics as usual

Tuesday, December 28th, 2010

Well, looks like Danny Davis is throwing out the race card in a new form when he asked Pres. Clinton not to come to Chicago and campaign for Rahm Emanuel.

I’ll lay odds that Danny’s PO’d because Rahm asked Clinton before Davis had a chance to.

Owell.  Now I know why I don’t like politics in general.  How much you wanna bet that if Clinton was coming to campaign for Davis that he wouldn’t be running his mouth now.

They get the assessments screwed up a lot…this oughta be good

Chicago politics—love it or hate it, it’s fun

Now it looks like the guy who is renting Rahm’s house has some ‘splainin’ to do;

Halpin signatures in question

And on another front:

Parolee arrested for cop murders

Very interesting…

News reports have it that Mark Kirk, who beat Alexi Gianoulias for the Illinois 10th District seat (Pres. Obama’s old seat) has RESIGNED!

Wonder what brought this on?  Was this the plan all along???

The plot thickens…and I might lisp.

More BS in Harvey

Monday, September 27th, 2010

I don’t know when those idiots in that town are going to learn.

Here’s yet the latest in quadruple-dipping by a public official in Harvey.

Keith Price stripped of three out of four offices

Shoulda bounced him out of all of ‘em.

It’s dead eh?

Monday, September 20th, 2010

Okay, now BP has pronounced that the well in the Gulf is officially dead (someone resurrect the Coroner from the Wizard of OZ!)

Now the big question is: how long will BP stick it out down there, especially since the EPA and others have said that it’s going to take years, maybe decades, to get rid of the oil that’s in the water now.
