And word now is that they had ANOTHER wreck today when the stunt driver had to serve to miss a cabbie (typical NY cabbie—don’t look) and got into another wreck. Here is the link to the story and some video from CBS news on it:

There’s lake near Webster, MA that folks have been calling Lake Webster simply because the real name of the place is **45** letters long! GAK!

What a mouthful! Anyhow, apparently, the local paper and the Chamber of Commerce didn’t have anything better to do so they set out to see if the name’s spelled right. Okaaaayyyyyyy.

After researching historical spelling combinations, the Telegram & Gazette of Worcester said local Chamber of Commerce officials agreed that some signs were wrong. There was an "o" at letter 20 where a "u" should have been, and an "h" at letter 38 where an "n" should go.
No wonder the newspaper biz is having troubles.
The AP reported that a man in Pomfret, CT, was so engrossed by the music on his iPod that he didn’t know his house was on fire until his alarm company called.
Asst. Chief Bates from Pomfret said that the homeowner didn’t smell the smoke or hear the smoke alarm going off.
The homeowner didn’t know his house was burning until his alarm company called him!
Damage was kept to an exercise room and an adjoining office and was caused by an electrical fault in the exercise room.
