Looks like Jay Mariotti’s rather nasty leave taking of the Sun Times has raised the hackles of the most well-respected movie critic in the city, Roger Ebert.

After reading what Mariotti said on TV and then Roger’s letter, it would look like Jay has shot himself in an uncomfortable region.

Feel free to comment. I was never a real fan of Mariotti and his “bully pulpit” way of writing, so I don’t have a LOT of sympathy for him.

Okay, let me preface this a little. The Chicago Sun-Times had a contest for best video to express “Zell No! – Don’t rename Wrigley field”.
